Qualistay collects your personal information when you use the Qualistay.com website to search for accommodation, to make bookings, to accept booking requests, to pay for accommodation, to post reviews, to request your property to be listed on our web-site (“Services”), or otherwise to contact us online. We use this personal information to: provide you the Services you have requested; create your user profile; to send you information about our Services and your registration; when you agree, to send you marketing information; and to respond to your correspondence.
What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our website?
When registering on our web-site to request a booking or to list your property on our web-site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, company name, email address, mailing address or other relevant details (such as a phone number and country of origin) to enable us to provide Services to you and to enhance your user experience. In addition, we may collect demographic information such as your age and gender. We may also sometimes collect other information that does not identify you. For example, the general location you have accessed our web-site from, the device(s) you use to access our web-site, the browser type, the pages you have visited, the page that led you to our website and, if applicable, the search terms you typed into a search engine that led you to our website. Note that Qualistay does not collect nor store any credit or debit card or other banking data.
We will only collect personal information to the extent deemed reasonably necessary to fulfil your requests and our legitimate business objectives.
When do we collect information?
We collect information from you when you access or use our web-site such as register on our web-site, use our Services, subscribe to a newsletter, fill out a form or enter information on our site.
How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, use our Services, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
- To provide you the Services
- To personalize user’s experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you could be most interested.
- To send you business messages related to providing Services to you and to responding to your queries.
- To improve our website in order to better serve you.
- To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site features.
- To ask for ratings and reviews of our Services
How do we protect visitor information?
We understand that the security of your personal information is important. We provide reasonable administrative and technical security controls to protect your personal information. However, despite our efforts, no security controls are 100% effective and Qualistay cannot ensure or warrant the security of your personal information. We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards. We use regular Malware Scanning.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.
All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
Do we use ‘cookies’?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. We do not sell or trade to outside parties your personally identifiable information. However, your personal information, which is necessary for completing your booking request, is transferred to our business partners who manage respective accommodation. This may include your name, address, phone number, email, payment and reservation preferences, as well as the names of the guests who accompany you.
If you requested us to list your property on our web-site, the following information will be displayed to other web-site visitors: property description, property availability calendar, property photos, and approximate property location. Some of your personal information such as name, contact phone number, email will be made available to the guest once the booking of your property is complete. We will also collect aggregated demand information about your property listing (such as pageviews, number of bookings, booked periods) in order to evaluate sales performance and improve our marketing efforts.
We disclose personal data to law enforcement or other governmental authorities insofar as it is required by law or the authorities, or is strictly necessary for the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal acts.
Qualistay does not keep tracks of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. An IP address is a number that is used by computers on the network to identify your computer every time you log on to the Internet.
Google’s advertising requirements can be summed up by Google’s Advertising Principles. They are put in place to provide a positive experience for users.
We have implemented the following:
- Google AdWords and conversion tracking, which is part of Google AdWords.
- Demographics and Interests Reporting
We along with third-party vendors, such as Google use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies or other third-party identifiers together to compile data regarding user interactions with ad impressions and other ad service functions as they relate to our website.
Users can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Settings page. Alternatively, you can opt out by visiting the Network Advertising initiative opt out page or permanently using the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser add on.
We collect your email address in order to:
- Send information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.
- Process orders and to send information and updates pertaining to orders.
- We may also send you additional information related to your product and/or service.
- Market to our mailing list or continue to send emails to our clients after the original transaction has occurred.
